About Romanian Women's Lobby

Mission

The ROMANIAN WOMEN’S LOBBY (RoWL) Association represents the national coordination in Romania of the EUROPEAN WOMEN LOBBY (EWL). Currently, the European Women’s Lobby has more than 2,500 member organizations from 31 countries, organized in National Coordinations (similar to Romanian Women’s Lobby), as well as 20 networks at European level. Romanian Women’s Lobby (RoWL) monitors the processes for adopting or amending Romanian gender equality policies and legislation, as well as their implementation at the national level.

Vision

Romanian Women's Lobby works to achieve equality between women and men, promote women's rights in all spheres of public and private life, and move towards economic and social justice for all women in their diversity, and the elimination of all forms of male violence against women.
