The project „Gloria - feminism and strategic approach of gender equality” has come to an end and we marked its end with an event in Iași.

On Monday, 30 October 2023, we joined our colleagues from the Community Safety and Mediation Center Foundation, who together with professors from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Gr.T. Popa” Iași who are also forensic doctors at the Institute of Forensic Medicine Iași and in collaboration with representatives from the Society of Medical Students Iași, organized an information and awareness session on domestic violence.

During the event "Talking with Roma women from Crăcăoani" on July 27, 2023, held in the meeting room of Crăcăoani City Hall, Neamţ County, we learned more about the experiences and personal discoveries that Roma women from Crăcăoani had on during the two months of events organized within the project "Gloria - feminism and strategic approach of gender equality".

On Saturday, July 15, 2023, we had good weather and nice time spent with the ladies of the Asociația Femeilor din Mediul Rural „Olga Sturdza” (member of the Romanian Women's LOBBY. We had "a sweet..." with surprises in Miroslava.
AGORA summer camp for young feminists 2023 edition

Between July 6-10, 2023, in Iași county, Community Safety and Mediation Center Foundation, together with partner organizations, organized the second Young feminist AGORA Summer Camp within the project ‘GLORIA - feminism and strategic approach of gender equality’. During the 4 days of the camp, we created an inclusive space for women and girls between the ages of 17+ and 30 to exchange experiences, inspire and strengthen knowledge in the area of feminist ABC through practical workshops, and new skill development with the aid from partners and project experts.

July found the Roma ladies of Crăcăoani full of desire for action. From 6-7 July 2023 they combined the useful with the pleasant in a new local feminist solidarity event.

In the last event of June in the series of personal development events for Roma women from Crăcăoani and Vânători Neamț, jud. Neamt, we discussed motivation, personal mission, adopting positive thinking, what we can learn from others and belonging to a group. The ladies from Neamt talked about optimism and ancestral values and how we should try to learn something new every day.

Women of Change in the Time of War, Bucharest

During the Women of Change in the Time of War event held on November 21, 2022 at the Romanian Parliament in the Foreign Policy Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, Bucharest, we proposed the inauguration of the 16 days of activism against violence against women as well as the 22 years since adoption of UNSCR Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.

During the 'Women of Change in time of war' event, on November 3, 2022, at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute, we celebrated the 22nd anniversary of UN Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security. Through their messages, representatives of embassies, national and international organizations and the Government of Romania emphasized the need to encourage women's participation in peace negotiations and peacekeeping in order to prevent conflicts and achieve sustainable peace.

A diplomatic reception was held on November 3rd, 2022, at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of UN Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security. The anniversary of UN Resolution 1325 took place within the "Women of Change in time of war".
