Event 1 - personal development

Over the weekend, we met with ladies from Neamț for the first event in the series of personal development events for Roma women from Crăcăoani and Vânători Neamt, jud. Neamt. These events are part of activity no. 8 - Local Feminist Solidarity Events carried out in the framework of the project "Gloria - feminism and strategic approach of gender equality".

Feminist Solidarity Forum - information session at IML Iași
During the workshop, participants discussed how well they really know themselves, discovered their strengths and weaknesses, and explored how they relate to others.
We congratulate and thank them for their openness in group discussions, conversations and introspection exercises. We are sure it was a session full of positive energy for both participants and lecturers.
These events are organized in order to promote and develop the capacity of NGO members of the Romanian Women's Lobby Association. This project supports the development/continuation of the promotion of the presence of women's organizations in the life of local communities by supporting events symbolic for them, which strengthen their presence in the life of citizens and support them in expanding their membership and creating a feminist solidarity between the leaders of organizations and the beneficiaries of the communities they come from.
The event took place within the project 'GLORIA - feminism and the strategic approach to gender equality', carried out with the financial support of Active Citizens Fund România, a program funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the SEE 2014-2021.
