'Women in Romania are not a minority' Campaign 50/50 - Bucharest

A new workshop from the series of workshops entitled "Women in România are not a minority" - Campaign 50/50 took place on November 2, 2022 in Bucharest.

The event was organized by the Centrul de Mediere și Securitate Comunitară Foundation (CMSC), in partnership with the Romanian Women's LOBBY Association (RoWL), Foreningen HEDDA, ​​Bulgarian Platform of European Women's Lobby, East-West Women's Network (NEWW) and Magyar Női Érdekérvényesítő Szövetség (Hungarian Women's Lobby) with the support of the Green Party of Romania and took place within the project 'GLORIA - feminism and the strategic approach to gender equality', carried out with the financial support of Active Citizens Fund România, a program funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the SEE 2014-2021.

Trainers and special guests were Dina Loghin, Laura Albu - Romanian Women's Lobby and Dina Vardaramatou - General Secretary of the European Women's Lobby.

The topics covered in this workshop and the proposals and recommendations collected from the participants will form the basis of future policy briefs that will be used as an advocacy tool to create new policies that come with concrete recommendations to reduce inequalities in women's representation in decision-making positions in Romanian politics.
