ABLE - A Better LifE project

The project aims to increase the degree of socio-economic inclusion and personal development (empowerment) of women from rural areas from project partner countries.

Specific Objective number 1: Development of knowledge, skills and working procedures within rural women's organizations in the countries of the project partners through co-creating an innovative working method 'ABLE'.

2. Development of knowledge, skills and working procedures in rural women's organisations in the project partner countries by co-creating an innovative working method called 'ABLE' (Common Training Curriculum and Online Platform MOCC/ 15 modules with self-assessment)

3. Developing the skills of 20 coordinators of women's organisations to work through the ABLE Method with 200 women from rural organisations in the project partner countries to develop personal growth through participation in a training session - LTTA (4 days) in October 2022.

4. Personal development of 200 rural women through the implementation of 'ABLE' working methods in rural women's organisations and the creation of individual life stories which form the basis of four books entitled "My Story" and the collection of electronic testimonies.

5. Raise awareness of the importance of self-empowerment and empowerment of women in rural areas through a European Dissemination Campaign.

ABLE project results

Result 1 - Innovative working methods called 'ABLE' - Common Training Curriculum (15 Modules with self-assessment - Storytelling combined with methods and techniques from Drama, participatory methods and Work-Life Balance awareness - WLB).

Result 2 - Interactive platform: a-betterlife.eu

Result 3 - Four books entitled 'My Story' produced by the project partners (in Romanian - 2 books, Portuguese and Italian - one book each) with stories written by the beneficiaries of the project.
